At age 15, Amber was hit by a beginner driver. “I still have the scar,” the Glee actress tells Parade.com. Amber’s run-in inspired her to start working with Celebrate My Drive, a State Farm campaign that centers around safe driving for teens.
“I think it's great they're taking a more positive spin on learning how to drive,” she says. “It teaches teens to be responsible and take driving seriously but at the same time it's about celebrating that milestone.”
Amber also shares details about her debut R&B album, which she says still has no official release date yet. “I've been taking my time and I really wanted to give it my focus,” she says. “It's a big dream of mine and I can't wait for everyone to hear what I've been doing.”
