Graham Bunn on Alex’s Lemonade Stand, His New Cancer-Fighting Project, and Focusing on the Positive — Exclusive

Ask and ye shall receive! Graham Bunn called on his fellow pals in Bachelor Nation to support his company, 46NYC, in their annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand event benefitting kids with pediatric cancer and, boy, did they ever. Wetpaint Entertainment was there for the entire afternoon and witnessed how much their presence meant to all the fans who showed up to donate to the cause. While the final tally on the amount raised hasn’t been announced, we’re pretty sure the number will be an impressive one.

Unfortunately, a few of those confirmed ended up bailing on the charity event (we’re looking at you, Ed Swiderski) but it ultimately didn’t put a damper on the day. Graham opened up to us about just how much the afternoon meant to him.

Wetpaint Entertainment: What an amazing turnout! How are you feeling about it?
Graham: It’s overwhelming. It’s such a blessing. I’m flattered and humbled but also very excited for the cause. All these people are here to make a difference and enhance pediatric cancer research.

Other than the annual lemonade stand, how else does 46NYC support the cause?
We do a product line called Curable where the profits all go to the charity. It’s available year-round.

Michelle Money flew all the way from Utah to be here. What does that mean to you?
Michelle is an insanely cool awesome girl. I couldn’t be more proud to have a relationship with her, no matter what it is. In life, you judge yourself on the people you surround yourself with and she’s someone I’m really proud to have in my life.

We can’t help but notice a few people who were supposed to fly in were no shows. Is that disappointing?
Whoever didn’t make it, whatever. I want to devote my time to the people who are here, who did devote their time and wanted to make a difference. Why focus on the negativity when there’s so much positive stuff here, you know? At the end of the day I just want to focus on the people that did show up.
