Pamela Anderson started it with her off-hand comment on last night's premiere that Bristol Palin would have the Tea Party votes behind her. Things heated up when the cameras panned the Celebriquarium and some people think Pam made a crazy sign with her hand about Bristol, who was sitting right next to her. DWTS Season 14’s Sherri Shepherd caught the move, tweeting last night, “Who saw the look Pam Anderson gave Bristol Palin & the ‘she's crazy’ motion... Uh oh ... Trouble in paradise!”
Well, Pamela and her pro partner Tristan MacManus shot that rumor down. "No!” Pam told ABC15, looking shocked at the idea. “No, no. God, no. No. God, that didn't cross my mind." She didn't even know she was twirling her hair, but she said she was definitely not giving Bristol the crazy symbol. "Let's solve that. That did not happen," Pam said, adding of Bristol, "She's a very sweet girl."
Bristol also shot down the idea of there being a political rivalry of some kind. "I just think that we come from two completely different backgrounds. Polar opposite backgrounds," Bristol said. "So whatever she says, she says, you know? I'm just here to have a good time, learn how to dance and become a better person."
Watch the video to see for yourself. The "crazy" symbol seems like much ado about nothing, but Pam did make that comment about the Tea Party. Do you think that helped or hurt her in any way? It may have actually made some fans irritated on Bristol's behalf. Then again, a lot of fans seem to have entered this season with certain perspectives already established — they like this person, they don't like that person. Case closed. Do you feel that way or are you keeping an open mind, in case someone dances particularly well or just surprises you in some way?
Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars Results Show airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT onABC.
