George clearly rattled Ramona when he told her that she should apologize to his daughter for making fun of her anxiety. He claimed that Harry Dubin (Aviva’s ex-husband) told him personally that Ramona was mocking Aviva behind her back, and he showed up uninvited to deliver the message.
Ramona was visibly shaken, getting tears in her eyes when she tried to explain to her friends (a room full of 30 women) how Aviva had called her “a drunk,” and accused her of cheating on Mario Singer. George wouldn’t back down, choosing to demand an apology repeatedly from Ramona, who Sonja Morgan eventually stepped in to defend after George held Ramona’s arm a little too tightly. Nevermind the fact that Ramona had held George’s shoulders and arm and face just moments earlier.
At the end, as George was escorted out, he called Ramona a “trailer turd.” He also said that he and Aviva had just given “thousands and thousands of dollars” to Ramona’s charity, and demanded an apology all the way out of the door.
