Jacob recently told JustJared that Jake and Marley’s attraction goes far beyond just a recognition of their mutual hotness. “They are kind of connecting on a level where their family histories are very similar, and I think that’s something they can both identify with,” Jacob says.
So will Marley remain interested in Jake, even though he dissed her in “Britney 2.0” by starting a thing with her nemesis Kitty (Becca Tobin)? It sounds like it, and Marley will even help Jake mature just a bit. “I think she can also see who he really is, behind all of these walls that he’s putting up, which I think he needs someone like that in his life,” Jacob continues.
Jacob also admits that there’s one genre of music that he wouldn’t feel exactly confident about tackling on the show. “I would be very nervous to rap I think if it ever comes to that!” Jacob confesses. “I’m going to try to steer clear as long as possible.” Actually, it’s probably best if this show keeps the rapping to a minimum in general.
