Ladies and gentlemen! Socialites and townies! Revengers of all ages! This is the Season 2 spoiler roundup to end all spoiler roundups. If you consider yourself a Revenge expert, than this is the article you want to read from top to bottom.
We’re only 5 days away from the highly anticipated Season 2 premiere (Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC), and while we’re sure you have taken the time to refresh yourself on Season 1, how much do you really know about Season 2?
Just like Emily Thorne, we’re not particularly fond of surprises, so we’ve compiled this extensive list of spoilers to prepare you for Sept. 30.
When we left the revenge queen, she was still reeling from the news that her mother was alive. This information changes her entire quest come Season 2. It turns out mommy not-so-dearest has some “deep psychological issues” that will play a big part in Emily’s sanity this season.
Ems is hell-bent on trying to find Kara, and her quest takes her back to revenge school with Takeda and into the arms of her new love interest, Aiden Mathias. The two meet while training and seem to have a dark past together. “They’ve lost similar things, and they [came] together,” says show creator Mike Kelley. Aiden will be Em’s first “adult relationship.”
Naturally, the most highly anticipated plotline has been kept the most secretive pre-Season 2. After Victoria’s plane supposedly exploded in the Season 1 finale, fans and critics alike have basically been convinced that the Ice Queen survived.
Josh Bowman (Daniel Grayson) said she didn’t die, but could this be false information leaked to put us at ease before she turns up dead? And for those cast members that say she’ll be back, there could always be more flashback episodes like last season’s “Legacy.”
After becoming a fan favorite last season, Nolan Ross will get infinitely more screen time this year. As a direct result of getting his ass kicked by Tyler, Frank, and the White-Haired Man last season, Nolan’s beefing up and getting some training in the boxing ring. And no one’s complaining about more sweaty, shirtless scenes for the Nolster.
We’ll also get an inside look into Nolan’s company, NolCorp. This comes complete with his new co-worker and love interest, Padma. Played by actress Dilshad Vadsaria, Padma is “a gorgeous fiercely intelligent, pop culture savvy financial whiz who brings her own spin to her job at Nolan’s company.”
And speaking of NolCorp, it seems the company will have a techie competitor from a mysterious corporation called SwiftTech.
And finally, Nolan is also updating his software this season, so in place of the Shamu whale cam, expect to see the Clam Cam!
Fauxmanda is back and bigger than ever! This obnoxious ex-stripper is with child, and she claims the fetus belongs to Jack Porter. The two are expecting a bouncing baby boy, but after watching the first few minutes of Season 2, we can tell you that the young couple no one’s rooting for isn’t exactly head-over-heels in love.
With his mistress and ex-wife seemingly out of the picture, Conrad is set to rule the Hamptons come Season 2. And though he’s still being investigated for his possible involvement in the plane explosion and Grayson Global’s questionable practices, we have a feeling that Conny will be able to hold his own.
At the start of Season 2, Ashley Davenport is still planning parties, but she’s also attending them! Considering her date, Daniel Grayson, is probably at the top of the guest list at many Hamptons soirees, Ashley is now living the life she always wanted. Ash and Danny are a regular item now, and her backstabbing ways could potentially put her in Emily’s line of fire this season.
Not only is the revenge martial arts master getting a bigger role this season, but he’s also being played by a different actor. Due to scheduling conflicts, Hiroyuki Sanada (who played Takeda last season) is giving the role to Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
Takeda is connected to Emily Thorne’s wooden post predicament from the Season 2 promos, and has been “training” Fauxmanda. Ems doesn’t trust him anymore, especially considering he doesn’t approve of her mission to find her mother.
