The Bachelorette

Ashley Hebert on Bachelor Sean Lowe: “He’s In It For the Right Reasons” — Exclusive

Okay, you guys, our radar is officially up. When we ran into the always-adorable Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum this past Sunday at Graham Bunn’s annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand charity event in Central Park, they said they’d be open to talking about anything…except their wedding. This struck us as pretty unusual, considering they’re normally willing to chat about anything nuptial-related. Could it be the rumors claiming they’re going to tie the knot sooner rather than later be true? We’re not sure…but we now have our suspicions!

In the meantime, both were happy to discuss their new life in the New Jersey suburbs…and their hopes for Sean Lowe on the new season of The Bachelor!

Wetpaint Entertainment: Is this your first time at the Alex’s Lemonade Stand event?
Ashley: It’s actually our second. We love that it brings people together for a good cause, raising money for pediatric cancer research. And we love seeing everyone and catching up and meeting all the fans.
JP: This was actually the first event we did last year after the show. We had just met Graham and since then we’ve become close with him, so there’s no way we weren’t going to come support him.

Did you meet any new Bachelor Nation alum that you particularly hit it off with?
Ashley: We did! We really like Chris Bukowski.

So you’re settled into suburban life. Do you miss the city at all?
Ashley: I love the city but only in very small doses. So I’m happy we can come in, then go back to our suburban life. I love it out there. I think you do, too, right babe?
JP: I do, too. It’s nice to get out of the city. I work in the city so I commute every day.
He gets his taste of the city…

What are your thoughts about Sean Lowe being the next Bachelor?
Ashley: I’m excited. He seems like a really decent guy. He seems like someone who’s doing it for “the right reasons.”

What kind of woman do you think would be a good fit for him?
Ashley: I think he’s going to be looking for a very conservative, sweet girl. Someone very family-oriented.

Will you end up blogging again this season?
Ashley: I don’t think so, because then it becomes work. I like just being able to watch it and have fun.
