Season 1 ended with the town’s curse broken, memories restored, and magic in the air. But, as the amazing Lana told E!, magic is different in Storybrooke and doesn’t work the same as it did in Fairytale Lane. She gave E! an example from Bewitched, where Aunt Clara would try to use magic and an elephant would end up in the living room. Expect a less funny version of that. It’s going to take a little while for Regina go “get her mojo back,” Lana added, because she hasn’t used her magical powers in 28 years.
So, basically, Regina is up poop's creek without a power paddle. There's a lot more we can expect for her character this season, including the not-so-surprising news that she will have "zero" friends left in town, but the better news that she may be "on the path to redemption." Maybe it's time for her to do some soul-searching and try to move past this whole evil thing. Take up gardening or knitting. Someone needs to make Emma (Jennifer Morrison) a second jacket!
Do you like when Regina is a bad, bad girl or would you like to see her expand that little bit of good in her heart?
