Ashley Salazar’s Shocking Cry for Help: “Please Help Me, Pray For Me”

Ashley Salazar blew us away with her dramatic and downright tragic story on 16 and Pregnant, and it looks like things in her life are just as fraught as ever. In case you need a refresher, Ash got pregnant during her first time having sex (yikes!), and ended up giving her daughter, Callie, up for adoption to her aunt and uncle.

Now, Ash is living with her baby daddy, Justin (who only met Callie for the first time back in June!), but things aren't looking up for this teen momma. Ashley took it to her blog, "Bittersweet Blessing," to write that she "needs help" and feels like she is "missing something."

Ashley thinks her problems stem from yearning for her baby gal, and the fact that she can't afford counseling.

"I would love to have Callie running around here every day," she writes. "I am scared, because this sadness is pushing itself onto something else such as my weight, insecurities, body image, stress, school, or anything else that I am 'unhappy about' every single day. I am scared because whatever the sadness pushes itself onto is affecting everyone around me and pushing them away."

Ash and Justin are still together, but they have been arguing as a result of Ash's depression.

"I love him and I do not want to ruin what we have either," Ashley writes. "Please, help me. Pray for me. Anything. I want to be secure in myself and who I am."

Luckily, Ashley and Callie have regular Skype sessions that help Ashley's mood, but we're definitely worried about this gal. Fingers and Uggs crossed that she starts feeling better soon!
