Glee Season 4 Spoilers: Sam Is Shirtless, But It’s [Spoiler] Who’s Heating Things Up With Sugar!

Artie (Kevin McHale) has had quite the dry spell since things went south between him and Brittany (Heather Morris) way back in Season 2. But are Artie’s romantic fortunes about to change for the better?

Kevin McHale tells TV Line that Artie may finally be getting another shot at dating Sugar (Vanessa Lengies) — and if you ask him, it should have happened long ago. “The Sugar-Artie thing may circle back around,” according to Kevin. “I love Vanessa [Lengies], so I’m all for it. I wanted it to happen last season, but Rory won.”

We think Sugartie would be pretty cute together, but that also reminds us: We miss Rory (Damian McGinty)! We’re just hoping that Glee’s producers can find a way to keep him on indefinitely after he returns for the Thanksgiving episode — because he’s too cute not to watch on our TVs every week.

As for Thursday’s Season 4, Episode 3: “Makeover,” there will be a debate between Artie and Sam (Chord Overstreet) before the presidential debate between Brittany and Blaine (Darren Criss), and it sounds like Kevin doesn’t appreciate Sam’s tactics.

“Of course, Artie does what Artie would do — he has great points,” Kevin says. “And then Sam resorts to doing what he knows how to do — stripping — which makes for a great debate.” So you can take the boy out of the strip club...

Sounds like Sam is really going to put the “body” in “student-body elections.” (Maybe Mitt and Obama might consider something similar to liven up their debates next week?)
