America's Next Top Model

ANTM’s AzMarie Lands Role on New Show DTLA (VIDEO)

See, Tyra Banks? America's Next Top Model stars don’t need booty tooch training pads to land gigs.

AzMarie Livingston had a surprise early elimination from Cycle 18 — thanks in part to her lack of interest in booty tooch class — but since then she’s been romantically linked to actress Raven-Symone and now she has a role on a new show called DTLA, which premieres Wednesday, October 24 at 11 p.m. on Logo.

According to Deadline, DTLA is about the sex lives of eight friends with varied ethnic, cultural, and sexual orientations who work and live in downtown L.A. The cast includes Melanie Griffith, Sandra Bernhard and Leslie Jordan — and in this preview video, you can see AzMarie around the 2:05 mark, getting a kiss on the hand from Melanie. Laura LaFrate would be jealous!

After the hour-long premiere, seven more half-hour episodes will air each week. It’s not clear how big a role Az will have, but we’re happy to see more of her on TV. Congrats!

Head to NewNowNext for details on the show.

Catch the next episode of America's Next Top Model Cycle 19: College Edition on Friday, September 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
