Channing Tatum: Expect Some “Nakedness” in New Movie White House Down
It should be in his contract: Channing Tatum should have to expose a certain percentage of skin in every movie. Preferably a high percentage.
Right now he's working on White House Down, which is not exactly Magic Mike 2. In the film, Jamie Foxx plays the President of the United States and Channing Tatum is the police officer who has been denied his dream job with the secret service but ends up protecting the POTUS when an armed paramilitary group takes over the White House. The film won't come out until June 28, 2013, but Entertainment Tonight shared a 3 minute, 24 second behind-the-scenes clip with the two actors.
Nancy O'Dell talked to a dirtied-up Channing, who had just finished shooting a stunt seen. She asked if he'd been working out and he flexed a bit, saying it’s all gotta be in shape. She spoke for all of us when she suggested he should just take his shirt off in every movie.
Channing gave the skin comment some thought. "There will be nakedness on some level in White House Down,” he said, “but not to the level as my last movie." So no Magic Mike stripping in the Oval Office. "I don't think the president would be too happy if I'm running around his White House in an American flag thong."
See, this is why we need a female president — or a gay male prez. They probably wouldn't mind at all!
