Glee Season 4: Will Brittany and Santana Break Up in Episode 4?

Next week’s Glee Season 4, Episode 4 is titled “The Break-Up,” and sadly, that means all of Glee’s core couples are in danger of breaking up for good. That means Finchel, Klaine, and, yes — even our beloved Brittana — may not survive the episode.

Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) are headed for some major relationship drama, but will they be able to work through it all in the end?

Unfortunately, at this point, we really don’t know for sure. We do know that Santana will be serenading Britt with Taylor Swift’s romantic love song “Mine,” at some point during the episode, but we’ve also heard talk that Santana might be the mystery voice behind the much more breakup-centric song “The Scientist,” by Coldplay, which is also confirmed for this episode.

At this point, whether or not Britt and Santana break up for good is anybody’s guess. However, we can take comfort in a bit of scoop straight from Glee creator Ryan Murphy himself.

Back in August, Ryan told a fan on Twitter that “in one episode, [Brittana will have] an equal amount of kisses to Finchel.” Now, unless zero qualifies as “an equal amount,” we still haven’t seen that episode yet.

Then in September, Ryan tweeted that Britt and Santana would share a “steamy” scene in the laundry room. Of course, if both of these end up taking place “The Break-Up,” Britt and Santana could still be done for good. However, if either of them happen after Episode 4, we’d call that pretty conclusive proof that Brittana is still together.

Now it’s time for you to cast your vote: Do you think that Brittana is headed for a breakup — or not?
