Director Joss Whedon revealed a tentative date for the sequel — within the next year, he told Variety — and Nathan has already confirmed that he'd be on board for part deux. NPH, who played Captain Hammer's arch nemesis, is also game to reprise his title role.
Nathan also posted a picture of the Dr. Horrible clan on his WhoSay account, sparking fan speculation about the nature of their rendezvous.
Although we've been skeptical about a Dr. Horrible sequel in the past — especially considering how busy Nathan is with his work on ABC's Castle — we're getting jazzed about the possibility. Plus, we can't think of a better time for Joss to confirm the news — Dr. Horrible is set to make its television debut in less than two weeks on The CW.
