Jacqueline Laurita’s Son Nicholas Can’t Say “I Love You” Anymore
During the first part of the three-episode Season 4 reunion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the tissues came out when Andy Cohen introduced a montage of Jacqueline Laurita's son, Nicholas, who was recently diagnosed with Autism. Jacqueline was understandably teary as the footage rolled, but she was downright hysterical by the end of the segment.
The montage ended with a recording of Nick telling his mommy that he loves her, which he apparently isn't able to do anymore. The little guy has regressed and doesn't really speak too much these days. Jacqueline sobbed into her hands while Caroline Manzo consoled her, assuring her that Nick would be able to say those words to her again eventually.
Jacqueline went on to defend her decision to go public with her son's diagnosis via People magazine, explaining that she wanted to get her story out there and bring awareness.
"First and foremost, he's beautiful, he's such a joy, he's very loving ... he happens to have Autism," Jacqueline shared. Andy wished him the best and so do we.
