Jersey Shore’s The Situation Wants to Be the Next Bachelor: “I Would Be Very Genuine”

Sean Lowe is officially the next Bachelor, but he may want to watch his (perfectly contoured) back. The Situation is gunning for the gig, and he’s not fooling around.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest for Ryan’s radio show, The Situation was asked if he would do The Bachelor.

“I would,” Mike replied. “Yeah. I would be very, very genuine. It would be a good show!”

We have no doubt it would be entertaining, and hey, The Sitch is sober now. Maybe he really would be genuine about his wish to find his future wife.

Just one question, though: What on earth happened to poor Paula Pickard?! It looks like their on-again, off-again relationship might really be in the "off" stage.

Not only is Mike publicly saying that he wants to be the ultimate single guy on national TV, but he was recently photographed with some hot girls while traveling. Is it safe to say that Paula and The Sitch are dunzo?

In the interview The Situation also lamented his broken relationship with Snooki, calling her a “beautiful person” who he wants to resolve his issues with. Mike also claims to have his own spin-off in the works, though nothing is confirmed by MTV.

Would you watch The Bachelor: A Genuine Situation next season? Or do you think he should stick to the bars and clubs in Seaside?

Jersey Shore Season 6 will premiere on Thursday, October 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
