Real Housewives of New Jersey

Caroline Manzo Sounds Off on Teresa Giudice’s “Blubber” Comment: What Does She Have to Say?

Teresa Giudice didn’t waste any time insulting her co-stars from The Real Housewives of New Jersey on part one of the Season 4 Reunion, quickly calling out Caroline Manzo for her age and struggle with her weight.

While the other housewives were aghast when Teresa referenced Caroline’s “blubber, blubber, and blubber” Caroline took it in stride and says she “wears it proud.”

Mama Manzo maintained a similar attitude in her most recent blog, writing, “The ‘old hag’ and the ‘triple blubber’ comment … I’m a big girl, and I’m very aware of my shortcomings. Yes, I am getting older, and yes, I do struggle with my weight and have a wrinkle here and there. I got a tummy tuck when I was 39, which was 12 years ago. I’ve never hidden it, but I don’t understand the relevance …”

Quite frankly, neither did we, but Caroline assures her readers that Tre’s words meant nothing to her.

“All kidding aside, the comment didn’t hurt me, because I won’t allow it to. I have the power to not let it affect me. Maybe it’s just a basic maturity that we, as adults, should have.”

We’re glad that Caroline has developed such a thick skin and isn’t affected by Teresa’s remarks, but did you think what Teresa said was too mean? Sound off below!
