Sam Starts Stripping! Top 5 OMG Moments From Glee Season 4, Episode 3: “Makeover”
This week’s Glee did not disappoint, as it was packed with crazy twists and jaw-dropping moments — especially with Finn’s (Cory Monteith) surprise appearance. Here are our picks for the top five OMG moments from Season 4, Episode 3: “Makeover.”
5. Sam’s gives a s-pec-tacular debate performance.
If you think we’re gonna complain about Sam (Chord Overstreet) getting showing his (celebrity) skin not once but twice in the very same, very sexy episode, then you don’t know us very well. What we just might complain about, however, is the fact that Sam might be encroaching on Santana’s (Naya Rivera) territory as he hugs Brittany (Heather Morris) and tells her that he voted for her. Find your own girl, dude.
4. Becky will play the xylophone when she’s good and ready, thank you very much.
We love how Sue(Jane Lynch) has been used so far this season, including penning Schue(Matthew Morrison) that letter of reference before he even asks. (Who knew he helped with the Underground Railroad?)
And Sue had plenty of hilarious lines this week — including ones we’re trying to block out involving a “soupy butt crack” — but our favorite Sue moment was when she realized that Becky(Lauren Potter) wasn’t “feeling” that xylophone flourish. Silence speaks louder than percussion instruments.
3. Kurt helps with Rachel’s new look — and we approve of it.
It comes as a surprise to absolutely no one that Kurt(Chris Colfer) is more than qualified for a career in fashion. But it was still amazing to watch him wow Isabelle during his interview (hippo broach for the win!) and quickly work his way up the Vogue.com food chain, thanks in part to that fab makeover video with Rachel (Lea Michele). The moral of the story: It’s okay to break into your place of business as long as you’re willing to sing and dance with your boss.
And we’re glad Kurt told Isabelle (Sarah Jessica Parker) to nix the leather, although we’re pretty sure that Kurt could make even leather socks look good.
2. Blaine wins! (But we still love you, Brittany.)
We’re still not sure exactly what the McKinley student-body president really does, but it’s nice to see Blaine (Darren Criss) get the much-deserved honor after he spent much of the episode down in the dumps.
And we really don’t want to see Klaine break-up, especially after that precious scene with Blaine offering Kurt popcorn via Skype. But did Brittany really deserve to get hassled for the dinosaur prom? We thought that prom was jurassic perfection.
1. Rachel kisses Brody, and she likes it! Until there’s a knock at the door...
Was there any question what would be the most OMG-worthy moment of the night? Of course not! That final scene still has us gasping for air whenever we so much as think about it. Rachel gives into temptation and kisses the very kissable Brody (Dean Geyer), only to have Finn pop by to say what’s up.
Sure, Rachel and Brody are starting to look pretty darn cute together, but let’s face facts: Finchel is Finchel! But who will she choose? Let’s just be glad that we don’t have to decide between these two oh-so-eligible bachelors.
