What Will Ashley Hebert’s Wedding Dress Look Like? Celebrity Stylist Weighs In — Exclusive
As Wetpaint Entertainment was the first to report, Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum will have a televised wedding later this year. And, now that the countdown 'til her ‘I Do’s’ has officially begun, fans of the pint-sized Bachelorette star want to know one thing and one thing only: What is she going to wear? If there’s anyone who knows how to match a bride’s gown with her individuality, it’s celebrity wedding stylist Renee Strauss, star of TLC’s Brides of Beverly Hills and owner of her own bridal atelier. Using her expertise, she gave Wetpaint Entertainment her prediction on what kind of gown (or gowns) Ash might wear on her big day. Call her the Dress Whisperer! Wetpaint Entertainment: Ashley’s very petite. How will that factor in? I call a woman like that a pocket-sized bride. I see her in something very slim to show off her fantastic figure. Making sure the gown is very well fitted will be important. She’s got a great body and I can definitely see her showing off a little bit of cleavage. But she probably won’t go with a long, sweeping veil because she is so petite and she won’t want it to overwhelm her.
Ooh, tell us more. I see intricate beadwork on the gown. Someone like Ashley, she realizes the power is in the details. I know she’s a dentist – so is my husband. They’re usually very artistic people, so she’s not going to be interested in a dress that’s too simple. Changing gowns after the ceremony a big trend these days. Do you see her possibly doing that? I could see her going with something short and cute and sexy for the reception, certainly. In 2011, Ashley said her wedding dress would not be white. If that’s still how she feels, what could you predict for her? Soft hues of pink and mixtures of other pastel colors in tulle can be quite elegant. But just because she doesn’t go with white doesn’t mean she won’t go with a lovely ivory, which comes in many shades. And I wouldn’t be surprised if she walks down the aisle in baby blue. What bride doesn’t want something blue on her wedding day?
