All those years spent working her way onto Hollywood’s A-list have certainly paid off for Anne Hathaway — and not just for her career. This past weekend, she was able to throw the wedding of her dreams! Celebuzz reports that she and Adam Shulman tied the knot in Big Sur, California, on September 29 in a “simple and rustic” ceremony with a less-than-rustic price tag of over $1,000,000.
We know weddings can add up fast, especially when the flower arrangements — which were transported from SoCal to the state’s scenic Central Coast — cost $100,000 alone. According to reports, each of the wedding’s 18 tables had 12 small floral centerpieces, with all the flowers taking over a week to prepare!
Other extravagances? How about Anne’s custom Valentino gown, which was as vintage inspired as Adam’s classic tuxedo. Then, keeping with the vintage theme, the two photographers used vintage cameras to capture the occasion — all set against a breathtaking California sunset. Sigh.
