Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke-Charvet Will Host the 2013 Miss America Competition
ABC's Rosemaster and Dancing Queen are joining forces once again!
The Bachelor host Chris Harrison and Dancing With the Stars Season 7 champion and co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet have been announced as the hosts of the 2013 Miss America Competition, which will air live on Saturday, January 12 from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
“Once again, we are thrilled to announce that Chris and Brooke are returning to host the 2013 Miss America Competition, the most watched non-sports program on a Saturday night for almost two years,” said Sam Haskell III, Board Chairman of the Miss America Organization, in an ABC press release. “Chris and Brooke are a wonderful team, and together they helped us achieve record ratings on ABC last January, and we are so proud to welcome them back for another incredible television event. Chris and Brooke were the perfect emcees for our show, and they helped to successfully set the stage to spotlight 53 beautiful and talented young women in our program.”
By the time the Miss America pageant airs, we should’ve already seen the first episode of Sean Lowe’s Bachelor Season 17, because it usually starts the first Monday in January. ABC has already revealed some cast photos and bios, and amid the multiple cheerleaders we spotted at least one pageant princess. Maybe The Bachelor producers should start casting from the single ladies of Miss America — unless, of course, they all fall for the newly single Rosemaster.
