Responding to Aviva’s confrontation of Ramona over the issue on the Season 5 finale (Season 5, Episode 18: “All’s Well That Doesn’t End Well”) co-starSonja Morgan — who’s gotten her own earful or two from Aviva throughout the season — has spoken up to defend her BFF. Sonja supports Ramona’s decision to have George removed from her charity party after he grabbed her by the arm and confronted her over her treatment of Aviva in St. Barts.
Sonja wrote in her latestBravo blog that she was “flabbergasted with all the girls ganging up on Ramona at Carole [Radziwill]’s book party to say that she was wrong to throw out George, poor elderly George!!!!” We’re guessing that last part is meant sarcastically.
“She didn't throw him out! She asked the waiters to kindly ‘escort the gentleman out’ after she asked him several times!” Sonja continued.
According to Sonja, Ramona’s decision to have him removed was completely justified because he’s as stubborn as his daughter.
“At that point I needed a rabies shot myself,” she writes. “I would have been like Mike Tyson and tore an ear off if I were Ramona! I swooped in just as she was about to bawl! Ramona doesn't deserve this,” said Sonja.
Do you think Sonja’s right? Is this a simple case of “Like father, like daughter”?
