As if schmoozing with chart-toppers like Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine wasn’t enough for the lucky group of singers who’ve made it past the blind auditions on The Voice Season 3, these lucky hopefuls will get a chance to hang out with even more A-list talent starting next week.
As the vocalists prep for the battle rounds, they’ll get the VIP treatment, with lessons in singing and stage presence from some of the best in the business.
So who exactly will we be seeing sitting around the piano come Monday?
Starting off his team on a high note, Adam Levine has recruited R&B royalty in the form of Mary J. Blige to help mentor his singers. And if anyone would know how to bring these talented entertainers to victory, it would be Blige, who as a nine time Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum selling artist, knows a few things about how to work a crowd.
Never one to shy away from all things crazy, Cee Lo has enlisted the help of rock star Rob Thomas.
Ironically. the brains and voices behind “Crazy” and “I’m Not Crazy” respectively, will be working together to whip Cee Lo’s team into shape, with the Matchbox Twenty man surely imparting wisdom on the secret behind his famous rock star style.
And rounding out the list is someone who probably doesn’t need the extra attention right now. Billie Joe Armstrong, currently in rehab after flipping out at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas a couple weeks back, filmed his stint on the show before he entered treatment, so we hope he was able to guide the singers, even if it’s a lesson in what not to do.
