Glee Season 4 Speculation: Does Santana Cheat On Brittany?

We’ve always assumed that Glee’s Brittana is the one relationship in the world in which cheating would never be a concern. But could we have been wrong?

In tomorrow night’s episode, Season 4, Episode 4: “The Break-Up,” the word “cheat” will be mentioned during a tearful discussion between Brittany and Santana, according to TV Line. And when the word “cheat” comes up between a couple, that’s never, ever a good sign.

During the episode, Santana (Naya Rivera) tells Brittany (Heather Morris) that she doesn’t want to be a couple that tries to make the long-distance thing work but then has to “break up when someone eventually cheats or things get weird.” As to be expected, Brittany does not take this well and starts crying.

So is Santana’s comment a sign that she has already cheated or is about to cheat? Or do Brittany’s tears mean that Brittany’s feeling guilty because she has cheated? Regardless, this does not sound like a fun conversation to have to watch.

And in other depressing relationship news, Finchel will have a conversation that is as intense as their one in the car at the train station during the Season 3 finale. Frankly, we thought that nothing could be as intense as that train station convo, but apparently we were wrong.

Finally, there’s also troubling Klaine news. (Sorry, Klaine fans! No one is immune!) At one point in the episode, Blaine (Darren Criss) will try to tell Kurt (Chris Colfer) “I love you” over the phone — but he then realizes that Kurt has already hung up on him. Uh-oh. Apparently, Klaine is past that honeymoon phase of every relationship where no one wants to hang up the phone?
