Skinny Deena Nicole Reveals the Secrets to Her 15-Pound Weight Loss
As we know, Deena Nicole has undergone an impressive body transformation in recent months. Now that she’s sporting aBaywatch bathing suit in In Touch Weekly, she’s also revealing how she got so trim and slim. For the record, she says that if she had to guess how much weight she’s lost, she’d say 15 pounds. “I went from a size 8 to a size 4,” she says.
Deena says that, back in 2004, she was at her skinniest (105 pounds) but didn’t feel healthy. In 2007, she weighed 150 pounds and admits to binge-eating. Deena reached her “healthy weight range” between 117 and 125 pounds when she first came on Jersey Shore, but blames “late night snacks and alcohol” for adding some major post-JS pounds.
So how’d she finally get back to healthy? As we previously revealed, Deena started with the Fresh Diet, a diet delivery service. “Then I moved to Jenny Craig,” she tells In Touch, “but now I mostly just watch what I eat.”
She explains a typical day’s menu.
“For breakfast, I’ll have egg whites and fruit. Lunch is a grilled chicken wrap or French onion soup without the cheese or bread. And for dinner, I’ll have a Jenny Craig meal — my favorite is the mac and cheese. But I do have cheat days — I still love quesadillas, and I have to get my fix — but I balance that with cardio and strength training workouts.”
Some other tips from Deena’s get-slim plan include drinking vodka with club soda instead of sugary cocktails, and making sure she worked out “as much as the boys did.”
