Glee Review: What Did You Think of Season 4, Episode 4: “The Break-Up”?

So... has anyone seen Blaine (Darren Criss) anywhere? Because we kind of need to give that boy a good ‘ole slap in the face.

We get that Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) been a bit distant lately, but is that really any excuse for Blaine to go and hook up with another guy? Not in your life.

And while we’re at it, let us know if you happen to see Santana (Naya Rivera) wandering around nearby. We have a few choice words for her, as well. Nobody should ever make Brittany (Heather Morris) cry like that.

As promised, Glee Season 4, Episode 4: “The Break-Up” sent us all on an emotional roller coaster. Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel (Lea Michele) broke up. Santana serenaded Brittany with a tender love song, then shocked us all by dumping her. And Blaine? He went from possibly the World’s Greatest Boyfriend to scum of the earth in a matter of seconds, after tearfully admitting to Kurt that he’d recently hooked up with another guy. Is no Glee relationship safe?

Finchel and Brittana are over. Klaine’s probably kaput, though nothing’s been made official quite yet. The only break up we’re actually happy about is the one between Jake and Kitty — though it’s not like Jake went running into Marley’s waiting embrace or anything like that.

This episode was chock full of kisses, flowers, and romantic love songs, but ultimately none of the couples walked away with a happy ending.

We’ve been hearing so much about this dreaded “Break-Up” for so long now — it just seems weird to realize that it finally is over. What did you think of the way everything turned out? Were you in tears the entire evening — or did you end up pleasantly surprised that the episode didn’t turn out to be quite as earth shattering as you expected? Head below and sound off.

This was a tough episode, but it was still SO good.

I'm still in tears. Can't form sentences. Ask me later.
