Grey's Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy Season 9, Episode 2 Review: What Did You Think of the Episode?

On Grey's Anatomy Season 9, Episode 2: “Remember the Time,” we finally got to go back in time and find out exactly what happened during the crash. Was this episode worth waiting all summer (and then an extra week!) for?

The episode was certainly intense. Watching Mark's (Eric Dane) downward spiral and Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) struggle (not to mention poor Callie [Sara Ramirez] and her ill-advised promise) was particularly hard, but it's not like anyone else had it easy, either.

Cristina (Sandra Oh) was completely traumatized at first, and then later decided to leave Seattle once and for all. Derek (Patrick Dempsey) was desperate to save his hand. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) had to pull it together for everyone around her.

This episode had a ton of fantastic scenes. We particularly liked Cristina's heartbreaking speech to Owen (Kevin McKidd), Callie's rant about being afraid of losing Arizona, and most of the Mark scenes. That said, we found the structure, which flashed all over the place, disorienting, and it took away some of the emotional impact.

Overall, we give it 3.5 stars. What did you think?

Love it!

Didn't like it.
