Sammi on Getting Back Together With Ronnie For Season 6: “It Was Perfect” – Exclusive
With no more Jersey Shore in their future, Sammi and Ronnie have moved on to a quieter life together (literally), having moved to a New York suburb and started new careers.
In an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment at the Jersey ShoreSeason 6 premiere party in New York on October 4, Sammi filled us in on her new job(s), whether a wedding and/or baby is on the SamRon horizon, and what life is like without the cameras. Wetpaint Entertainment: What are your plans for after Jersey Shore? Sammi: Kind of just [to] work on myself and my branding. I have a fashion line that debuted at New York Fashion Week, I have a fitness line that you can get on my website, I have perfumes, Dangerous, Dangerous Desires, and I’m also working on a clutch line. And I have a men’s cologne that’s coming out on Monday [October 8]. So I’m working on a whole bunch of stuff. What’s it like living with Ronnie? It’s awesome, I’m having so much fun. What’s the town like where you live? It’s a little city like, a little suburb-y, so it’s a mix. What’s a typical day like for you, now that the cameras are gone? I actually do a lot of work for my branding and stuff. I’m really involved in that, I like to be in charge of something, so I’m working and [Ronnie] works, he travels. Our schedules are kind of busy but we make time to be together. Who do you think will get married first: JWOWW or Snooki? I don’t know. Maybe Jenni. Are you and Ronnie next? No engagement or babies anytime soon. We’re just going to try and take things slow. Because we just moved in together, we’re going to see how that goes. But you never know what can happen in the future.
What’s it like without the cameras? It’s just easier. You don’t have cameras in your face, you don’t have other people you’re living with chiming in. You have leeway, whereas you don’t really have that when you’re filming.
How was this last time you and Ronnie got back together different than the other times? It’s always the same. We have our ups and downs, we fight here and there. But we had a great time, we actually had fun this season. It was perfect, and now we’re living together, so we had a great time together.
What’s the biggest thing the whole Jersey Shore experience has taught you? I kind of grew up. I was able to learn about myself watching and kind of realized, “Oh my god, why are you doing those things!” or “Wow, that’s really cool about yourself.” So it kind of made me who I am today.
What’s your most embarrassing moment on Jersey Shore? I have my moments, I can’t even pinpoint one. I have my moments.
