Remember the royal war between Countess LuAnn de Lessepsand Princess Carole Radziwill? The one-upmanship? Well the The Real Housewives of New YorkSeason 5 girls do. On the Season 5 Reunion Part 1, LuAnn asked Carole to cut her a break after watching some footage of rivalry. “I do have a sense of humor about a lot of this,” said Carole, before calling some of LuAnn’s behavior ”idiotic.” LuAnn admits that she was making the scalping, war-whooping sounds of her ethnic “Indian” background in order to get on Carole’s nerves. So, point: Carole?
The Ranjana/Naeem Kahn dress conversation got regurgitated, prompted by LuAnn who had some points to make, and unfortunately, some low blows were tossed around, as LuAnn said that any designer should be honored for her to wear their clothes in Life & Style magazine. Carole replied, “Look, it’s not Vogue, darling.”
Even though Carole looked like her intentions were good, her sharp tongue got the best of her. At one point she said to LuAnn, “I don’t know why you think you know everything.” That’s fine, but we have to give credit to LuAnn for never stooping to name-calling. LuAnn expressed disbelief over Carole’s behavior, but she never quite insulted her.
