Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: Romance Update! Which Stars Are Married Now?
It’s been over seven years since The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants first hit theaters back in summer 2005 — and stars Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn have changed quite a bit since then.
In addition to her work on Gossip Girl, Blake’s also racked up an impressive list of movie credits and endorsement deals. Amber appeared on House, Alexis on Mad Men, and America on Ugly Betty and The Good Wife. But all that only pertains to their careers. What about their love lives?
Believe it or not, almost all of the film’s stars are now — wait for it — married women. Have any guess as to which cast members that might be? Here’s a quick romance roundup for all four of the Sisterhood sisters.
Just weeks after Blake and Ryan’s nuptials, Blake’s Sisterhood co-star Amber Tamblyn also took the plunge into a life of wedded bliss. Amber married David Cross— who plays Arrested Development’s super quirky Tobias Funke — on October 6, 2012. Amber is 29 years old, while David is 48, but this isn’t some spur-of-the-moment romance. The cute-and-quirky lovebirds have been dating since at least 2009, and got engaged back in August 2011.
After splitting with her former Gilmore Girls co-star Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) back in 2006 — if she’s no longer interested, we’ll take him — Alexis is now dating actor Vincent Kartheiser, whom she met while filming her three-episode stint on Mad Men. Looks like someone may have developed a habit of falling for her co-stars.
America was actually the first of the Sisterhood ladies to tie the knot, marrying her longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams back on June 27, 2011. People reports that the couple first met at the University of Southern California, when Ryan cast America in his student film. How cute is that?
