Jersey Shore

What Will Pauly D Do After Jersey Shore Is Over? Exclusive

Pauly D is one of the biggest stars to come out of Jersey Shore. He was the first castmate to be offered their own spin-off show (The Pauly D Project), and he’s tied with The Situation and Snooki for the highest-paid castmate (Pauly reportedly made $150k per episode of Season 6). So what happens when all of that goes away?

Pauly spoke to Wetpaint Entertainment at the New York premiere party for Jersey Shore Season 6 on October 4, and spilled on his post-reality show plans, the difference between Jersey girls and Vegas girls, and why he’s moving to Las Vegas in the first place.

Wetpaint Entertainment: What are your plans after Jersey Shore?
Pauly D: So after Jersey Shore I want to continue on with my DJ’ing, I’m actually working on an album right now with 50 Cent, I have my cocktail that came out Remix, I got my energy shot [SK Energy Shots], and I got some headphones coming out.

Why did you decide to move to Las Vegas?
Because I feel like I need to be out that way, like Vegas is a place for a DJ. I have my residency out there at the Hard Rock so hopefully I continue on with that. And I just want to be stationed out there.

What’s the biggest difference between Vegas and New Jersey?
Vegas, everybody goes there for a vacation, and everybody just lets loose so it’s a great place to DJ. I kind of like it better out there.

Are the girls better in Vegas than in Jersey?
Yeah, because you’re always going to get someone, something different. They’re all from around the world, they go there.

Who do you think will get married first: Snooki or JWOWW?

That’s funny because Vinny said Snooki.
Really? I would think JWOWW because she just got engaged.

We didn’t even know it was possible for Vinny and Pauly to differ in opinion, but when it comes to wedding plans, all bets are off!
