Vinny: Everything With Girlfriend Melanie Was “Going Great” Days Before Breakup – Exclusive
How quickly things change. Yesterday (October 9), Vinny and his girlfriend Melanie Iglesias appeared to have ended their relationship. But when Wetpaint Entertainment spoke to Vinny in an exclusive interview at the Jersey ShoreSeason 6 premiere party on October 4, he happily confirmed that everything between them was “going great.” What could have gone wrong?
Read the full interview below, and see if you can detect any hints that this seemingly happy couple was on the outs. Wetpaint Entertainment: What are you planning on doing after Jersey Shore? Vinny: Hopefully be an actor, hopefully to be on TV in some way, keep on writing books. How is your relationship going with Melanie? [Smiles] It’s good, everything’s going great. How long have you been going out now? Since I got back home from filming, so let’s see, July, three months. Do you see yourself getting engaged to her? [Laughs] It’s only been a couple months, so I can’t talk on that yet.
What was the most surprising thing that happened in Season 6? Seeing everybody who you haven’t seen, like Snooki and Mike, like actually be there, be alive, sober and cool.
Was it a whole different Mike? I don’t really know, because I didn’t really hang out with him. I tried to avoid that because I don’t smoke cigarettes, you know. Just little things. We never shared a room. We’re all sharing a room this season.
Was it like getting to know him for the first time? Exactly! Or reintroduced.
Even though Mike was sober and Snooki was pregnant, were you still partying? Honestly, yeah, we were all still partying. Everyone was still there having a good time. For us, nothing changed, so you can judge on that on your own. But for us, we were all still doing our thing. I still had Paulynext to me, we were all having a good time.
Who do you think will get married first: Snooki or JWOWW? I’m going to say Snooki just because she already has the kid, but we’ll see.
Catch the next new episode of Jersey Shore on Thursday, October 11 at10 p.m. ET/PT onMTV.
