Keith Urban and American Idol Alums Snag American Country Awards 2012 Nominations

Nicki Minaj isn’t the only American Idol judge racking up the awards nominations!

Keith Urban has been nominated for two American Country Awards, and a few Idol alums have also received notable nominations.

Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood has two noms, one for Single of the Year: Female and another Artist of the Year: Female. Additionally, she scored a Single of the Year: Vocal Collaboration nod for her contribution to Brad Paisley’s “Remind Me.”

Spunky Season 11 runner-up Lauren Alaina is up for Artist of the Year: New Artist, while Season 9 contestant Casey James was nominated for Music Video of the Year: New Artist for his song “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night.”
