America's Next Top Model’s Tyra Banks is ready to prove that she can do more than walk a runway, host a talk show or create an incredibly successful reality competition. As if she isn't busy enough already, Tyra is coming over to the fictional side of things. Well, she’s at least coming halfway.
Page Six reports that Tyra just sold a scripted show, Fivehead, to ABC. Tyra is co-creator and executive producer of the show, which is a comedy based on her personal life, specifically focusing on her teenage years when she went from high school in L.A. to some of the biggest catwalks in the world. The show’s name comes from Tyra’s personal nickname for her forehead.
TV writer Kenya Barris will act as the other co-creator and executive producer.
Do you think this is a good career move for Tyra? And will you watch her first-ever scripted show?
