Glee Season 4: Will Brittany and Santana Get Back Together?

Our hearts nearly exploded with joy as we watched Santana (Naya Rivera) serenade Brittany (Heather Morris) with that emotional version of Taylor Swift’s “Mine” during Glee Season 4, Episode 4: “The Break-Up.”

Our Brittana feelings were off the charts. We didn’t know if our hearts had ever felt so happy. Then, all of the sudden, it all went horribly wrong.

Santana tearfully told Brittany that she didn’t think she could do this anymore, and that perhaps the most mature thing to do is to just break up before one of them ending up cheating, and people started to get hurt.

She said it wasn’t an official breakup, but it sure felt like one to us — and to Britt. So is Brittana really over? “You know this isn’t working,” Santana tells her. “You know I will always love you the most.”

They kissed. They exchanged kind words. And then they parted ways. But does this mean that Brittana really is over for good? Unfortunately, we don’t know for sure quite yet.

There have been plenty of rumors that Brittany and Sam (Chord Overstreet) might start dating if Brittana broke up, but that’s not to say that our two favorite ladies won’t end up back together eventually.

Assuming Brittany graduates this year, she will certainly have the option of leaving Ohio to be with Santana. And with the distance between them no longer an issue, we’d say Brittana definitely has a shot of making things work. They didn’t part on bad terms. The breakup was simply the result of bad timing.

Once the timing is right, we see no reason why Brittany and Santana couldn’t give their relationship another shot. There’s been no official word on it yet, but we have our hopes up!
