Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 3: “Lady of the Lake” Review: What Did You Think?

On Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 3: “Lady of the Lake,” we fully admit that we had to hold back tears for many of the Fairytale Land scenes. That moment when Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) looked into each other’s eyes at their wedding, or when Snow became convinced that it was best to save Mrs. Charming than save her own fertility. And that terribly sad flashback Snow had in current day Fairytale Land, thinking back to the former nursery she was planning for Emma (Jennifer Morrison) before the curse.

We learned that Lancelot was a truly great knight (even if he was no longer of the fabled Round Table), and that, sadly, Cora (Barbara Hershey) killed him a long time ago. Charming remained not-so-blissfully ignorant of King George’s (Alan Dale) curse on Snow, but we could see the true love in his eyes when Snow made sure his mother got to see them wed by the lake.

Overall, we found “Lady of the Lake” to be beautifully sentimental, with more than enough tension in Storybrooke, considering the arrival of King George (Alan Dale) in Storybrooke. Rate the episode below and find out what others are saying!

Not my favorite.

Loved it!
