Oscar Winner Shares “Disgusting” Casting Couch Experience
And they say this industry is glamorous!
Susan Sarandon, who just turned 66, has been working steadily since the early 1970s. The Oscar winner for Dead Man Walking has a few new movies out this year, including Arbitrage and Cloud Atlas. But she has some not-so-wonderful stories in her past and she shared one with Elle magazine when they asked if she'd ever had a casting couch experience.
“I just went into a room, and a guy practically threw me on the desk," Susan told Elle (via RadarOnline). "It was my early days in New York, and it was really disgusting. It wasn’t like I gave it a second though, it was so badly done.”
Now the sexy, confident actress — who split with longtime love Tim Robbins in 2009 — is enjoying a relationship with ping pong entrepreneur Jonathan Bricklin. She noted that her boyfriend is 35, not the younger numbers he’s seen reported in the media.
So her man is 31 years younger than her at this point. No more. No less. But age is just a number, anyway, right? As long as he doesn’t trying throwing her over any desks, live and let live!
