Benji vs. Sam James: Who Deserved to Win the Battle Round on The Voice Season 3?

Tonight on The Voice Season 3, rock singers Benji and Sam James took a whack at the ‘80s hit “You Give Love a Bad Name” by Bon Jovi.

The Team Adam contestants seemed evenly matched, but the other coaches sided with Benji and his epic wail.

Cee Lo declared Benji the clear winner, saying he had a willingness to experiment and a bigger range, but Adam said that Benji lacked control between his lower register and his scream.

Ultimately Adam chose Sam, and none of the other coaches tried to steal Benji. The humble lead singer thanked his coach for the opportunity and left the show with his head held high, but did he deserve to win?
