Castle Music: Songs That Played During Season 5, Episode 4: “Murder, He Wrote”

It wouldn't be a romantic weekend getaway to the Hamptons without a romantic weekend soundtrack to match. And luckily, Castle pulled out all the stops in last night's episode, providing the perfect musical backdrop for Castle and Beckett's very first happy holiday.

Curious about the songs that played in Season 5, Episode 4: "Murder, He Wrote"? Check out our music guide, then download available tracks on iTunes.

1. "Longing to Belong" by Eddie Vedder

Scene: Castle and Beckett hit the road after a long work week and pull up to Castle's seaside chateau in his silver hybrid S-class. Beckett looks like a little girl in a candy store — her heart flooded with feelings, her eyes dancing with disbelief.

Lyrics: I'm falling harder than I've ever fell before
I'm falling fast while hoping I'll land in your arms
'cause all my time is spent here longing to belong
to you ...

2. "Getaway" by Latch Key Kid

Scene: In hot pursuit of councilwoman Roosevelt, Castle and Beckett head over to a popular local watering hole to quench their thirst — and interrogate their suspect. Unfortunately, the police chief catches them red-handed and drags them down to the station … in cuffs! This is what we call not getting off "scotch"-free.

Lyrics: Gotta make my getaway
Gotta make it today
Gonna leave it all behind
Gonna make my escape
