Carole Radziwill: My “Real Life Friends” Tried to Stop Me From Doing RHONY

Princess Carole Radziwill might’ve stepped off the proverbial throne for a minor scuffle or two on Real Housewives of New York Season 5, but compared to, say, fellow newcomer Aviva Drescher, she was a Ps and Qs-minding saint all season.

Sure, she might’ve taken some heat from LuAnn de Lesseps on the RHONY Season 5 Reunion Part 1 special for a little “mean girl”-ing during her confessional interviews and for keeping her fashion connections close to the chest, but Carole was a bystander for the most of the show’s dramatic moments indeed.

In her latest Bravo blog, Carole lauded her own behavior on her first season as Housewife, writing “I feel like a winner because I never compromised my integrity or lost my sense of humor.”

When she first decided to do the show, she explained, her “real life friends” tried to stage an intervention and stop her from doing it, but looking back she’s glad she joined the reality TV fold and stuck to her principles during it.

Do you think Carole did a good job at remaining poised and polite during RHONY Season 5? Let us know in the comments below!

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
