Bethenny had claimed as muchover the summer, when she said she was the “reason [Aviva]’s on the show.” As Bethenny explained it, she’d suggested Aviva for the show years before to no avail and later reiterated it to Bravo executive Andy Cohen. "I said, ‘Go back and find the tape of that woman. I think she would probably be a good Housewife.’ So here we are,” she remembered.
Now, Aviva herself has confirmed the connection.
She explained her relationship with Bethenny in her latestBravo blog, admitting “She is the person who is largely responsible for my ‘Housewife’ status.”
According to Aviva, she and Bethenny first met through her “childhood friend in PR named Jake Spitz,” and that’s where their association began. As for their relationship these days, Aviva didn’t exactly indicate they’re besties. “I see Bethenny if I bump into her,” she bluntly wrote.
