Brant Daughtery: “I’m Keeping My Lips Shut” About Noel’s Fate on Pretty Little Liars – Exclusive
Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) is at the top of the suspected victim list in the upcoming Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode (Season 3, Episode 13: “This Is a Dark Ride,” airing October 23 on ABC Family) and apparently Brant Daughtery isn’t going to drop any hints about his character’s fate. Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Rosewood’s hottest bad guy at a special screening of the Halloween episode in Hollywood on Tuesday, October 16, to talk about the H’ween death, Noel’s “big plans,” and how he reacted when he learned about Toby being “A.”
Wetpaint Entertainment: Lately, your character has been there to throw parties and get the Pretty Little Liars to your cabin, but what is going on?
Brant Daughterty: Well, Noel is up to his old tricks. I always play the whole show like the four Pretty Little Liars are the bad guys. And I’m the hero of the show, and they’re just messing with me. I’m just out to get back at them.
What can you say about your participation in the Halloween episode?
I can say that normally I throw the Halloween party, but it’s been taken away from me this year, so I have bigger plans in store.
You’re going to ruin the party because it’s bigger and better than yours?
(Laughs) Not a bad idea!
Kill someone for upstaging you?
That wouldn’t be beyond Noel, actually. At all.
What about this spring?
We come back in January, but I’m going to keep my lips shut about the episodes though, as far as Noel goes.
Are you on a list of potential victims?
I am. One of us isn’t coming out of the train alive. So I’m not going to say anything. Somebody’s gotta bite it.
How have you felt about the surprises, as far as Toby being on Team A and the death?
I found out kind of as you find out, episode by episode. I got to the end of Toby being A, and I was like, “There’s no way!” I’m trying to re-read things, trying to see how it fits in, and it does. I’m shocked at how well they pull that off. Swept the rug out from under everyone.
I heard the table read for the Halloween episode was shocking as well.
Yeah. There was a little emotionality going on in there!
