Once Upon a Time

Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (Finally) Cover Entertainment Weekly (PHOTO)

Took ya long enough!

Once Upon a Time — OK, this past August — a fan named Anthony Covino started a little Twitter petition to get Prince Charming himself, Josh Dallas, on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Josh's lady love on screen and off, Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), chimed in to promote the petition.

We were all for it, adding that we’d like to see both Ginny and Josh on the cover. Then not much happened (besides Josh getting a TV Magazine cover.) Two months later — and almost four episodes into OUAT Season 2 — and voila! Here are Josh and Ginny as Charming and Snow on the cover of Entertainment Weekly's new issue. Guess they took note of those strong premiere week ratings!

EW’s "Behind the Magic" cover story notes that OUAT will introduce Captain Hook on this Sunday’s Season 2, Episode 4: “The Crocodile,” but they also add, “the following week expect Once to journey to a new world unlike any we’ve seen before on the show. Plus, producers will eventually take Once characters to the Land of Oz and introduce their version of the Little Mermaid. And after bringing in Mulan and Lancelot this year, producers are not ruling out figures from other genre-bursting non-fairy tale sources (like, say, Moby Dick, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and Tron).”

Tom Sawyer? Tron?! Huh. We can’t wait to devour our issue to get more details — and see more magical photos of the cast.

Congrats, Oncers!

Catch the next new episode of Once Upon a Time on Sunday, October 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
