At this point, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) is the only one who doesn’t think they should take the settlement, and Arizona hasn’t said anything. Instead, she’s berating Callie at home, badgering her about making the decision to amputate her leg when Arizona couldn’t make it herself. She even yells at Callie, when Sofia starts crying, “I think Mark would want you to pick up his daughter when she starts crying. But I guess she’ll have to learn to deal with disappointment, too.”
Eventually, Callie comes home to find Arizona on the floor, sitting in her own urine. She couldn’t make it to the bathroom on her own. Callie forces her into the shower, and they have a breakthrough moment when Callie bursts into angry tears. Arizona looks hopeful, because she can see that Callie is in (almost) as much pain as she is.
They’ve crossed a major bridge, at least now they’re finally on the same side.
