Vampire Diaries Season 4 Spoilers: Rebekah’s Going to Flirt With Who?!

Karma is about to slap Matt (Zach Roerig) across his cute little behind with the good luck stick, and it’s about time!

The jock has had absolutely no luck when it comes to ladies, and now has to shoulder the guilt of Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) death. But in Season 4 of Vampire Diaries, things seem to be looking up for one of Mystic Falls’ few humans.

"Rebekah [Claire Holt] and Matt have been a little bit... hot and cold," Zach told Zap2It. "I think you can expect to see Rebekah trying to kind of clean things up with Matt and get him to forgive her. 'I got upset. My bad, I tried to kill you. But you survived! So now we can flirt again!' I feel like it's going to continue to be the same dance, though, because at the end of the day, in some weird way, Matt can wrap his head around why Rebekah would do that."

It may sound a little twisted, but other TVD characters have forgiven their love interests for similar indiscretions. Some Mabekah action isn’t that farfetched.

But, of course, he’ll still have to wrestle with the fact that while he’s alive and breathing, Elena has passed on to the vampy side.

"How much does Matt owe Stefan [Paul Wesley]," Zach said. "I don't know if it's a question of whether he owes Stefan, or if he just owes Elena. I think that's going to be Matt's biggest struggle, starting off the season. Just the guilt, and why him, why would Stefan — even if Elena did want it — ever listen to [her]."

Hey, Matt, if working through that guilt with Rebekah doesn’t pan out, we’ve got a very cushy shoulder for you to lean on. Just saying.
