Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 4 Spoilers: 6 Clues From the Sneak Peeks

On Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 4: “The Crocodile” (airing October 21), we already know the basics: Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) makes his debut, along with Rumplestiltskin’s (Robert Carlyle) wife Milah in a flashback, and someone kidnaps Belle (Emilie de Ravin). But we took a closer look at all the sneak peeks and previews to gather 6 major clues you may not have noticed.

Rumplah is not a ship we want to sail. It turns out that Rumple’s marriage to Milah was a very unhappy one. Milah resented Rumple for being a coward (which we knew from Season 1), and she let loose by getting drunk and whooping it up with Captain Hook and his gang of thieving pirates.

Killian Jones is... We’ve been curious about the fact that Colin O’Donoghue is listed to play Captain Hook and Killian Jones in the official episode synopsis. In this sneak peek, we learn that Killian Jones was Hook’s name before he lost his hand.

Rumbelle’s breakup. Before Belle gets kidnapped, she’s wallowing around Storybrooke, bonding with Ruby (Meghan Ory) and generally looking down on love.

Rumple tries to prove himself to Belle. We suspect that the Rumbelle scene in this Canadian preview takes place just before their latest breakup, because Belle seems completely grateful to Rumple for changing his Dark ways.

Rumple and David’s bromance. Of all the unlikely pairs, this one actually kind of warms our heart.

Does Emma fight with Hook? In this preview, we see a brief glimpse of someone holding a knife to Captain Hook’s throat. This someone has long blond hair and wears a leather jacket. We’re really hoping this someone is Emma (Jennifer Morrison)!
