How Long Will Adam Levine’s Character Be on American Horror Story?
If you spend your Monday and Tuesday nights drooling over Adam Levine on The Voice, then chances are, you’ll want to check out FX’s American Horror Story this season. The creepily gruesome show features Adam playing Leo, the newly married groom to Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s character.
In the show’s pilot episode, the modern-day couple decided to get a little freaky in an abandoned insane asylum, which resulted in Adam losing an arm and us covering our eyes.
So is that the end for the tattooed frontman’s character? Not according to show creator, Ryan Murphy.
“He is going to be in a bunch of episodes,” Ryan told Socialite Life. “I mean, it’s clear after the first episode that he’s in a bad place. I wanted a big star in that. We actually wrote it for him. He did such a great job. He has this great movie star charisma. But what Janet Leigh was to Psycho, Adam is to this season of American Horror Story. He does not perish as quickly as anybody. And maybe he lives — I’m not saying anything.”
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Janet’s role in Psycho, that basically means the future’s not too bright for young Leo, but we’re excited to see Adam test out his acting skills.
