Vampire Diaries Season 4: Jeremy Can See Connor’s Tattoo Because [SPOILER]

We know something you don’t know! And it’s about Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) new ability to see Connor’s (Todd Williams) tattoo. Don’t worry, though; we’ll let you in on the secret, because this one’s a doozy!

While you may think that invisible ink sight is somehow connected to Jeremy’s Sixth Sense-like ability to see dead people, it’s not.

"This is something completely separate from that," executive producer Julie Plec told Zap2It. "This is a whole new thing that ties together pieces of a story we've been setting up in Seasons 1 to 3. This really fulfills the promise of a legacy for Jeremy. It's really something we haven't explored yet, and Steven McQueen is doing truly wonderful work this season."

Apparently, Jeremy’s creepy talent leads Connor to offer the little Gilbert training in how to hunt blood suckers. Huh, that might conflict with the fact that Elena (Nina Dobrev) is one of them, right?

Also, E! Online reports that Connor’s ink “is a map of sorts." Interesting, because it happens to be the same design as Jeremy’s holy card and part of the sword that ancient vamp hunter Alexander (Paul Telfer) holds in the promo pic from Season 4, Episode 4, "The Five.”

So, what does this all mean for Jeremy? Did Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) spell do more than just call for some Ghostbusters action? And, if so, does that mean he’s in more danger than ever?
