Who Got Eliminated During The Voice Season 3 Battle Rounds on Oct. 22, 2012?

Tonight's battle round episode of the The Voice was all about the rhythm and blues. We saw a fantastic duo duke it out to Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's classic soul song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," while another pair fought for their lives with "Free Your Mind" by '90s girl group En Vogue.

Unfortunately, not all 12 contestants were able to advance to the competition's live knockout round. Below are the aspiring singers who were forced to say goodbye, losing their chance at the $100,000 grand prize and recording contract.

Alexis Marceaux from Team Cee Lo

Brandon Mahone from Team Adam

Brian Scartocci from Team Adam

Ryan Jirovec from Team Blake

Samuel Mouton from Team Adam
