DWTS All-Stars: Did the Judges Overscore Team “Call Me Maybe”?

On Dancing With the Stars Season 15, Week 5, the All-Stars were divided into two teams: Team “Gangnam Style” and Team “Call Me Maybe.” The latter performed last night (October 22), and got a shocking score of 29.5 out of 30. Did the judges wildly overscore the routine?

To review, it was Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough’s team that danced last night to the Carly Rae Jepsen hit. Their team included Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel, Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff, and Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani, and they all dressed up as cheerleaders and jocks.

While the freestyle dance was impressive in myriad ways, from the human jump rope to the many lifts and jumps, we think it’s possible that the “Ten from Len” (normally conservative judge Len Goodman) was undeserved.

Are we the only ones?

Tell us in the reaction buttons below what you think: Did the judges overscore?
